Hummus and Homicide by Tina Kashian (Kebab Kitchen Mystery #1)

Hummus and homicide

4 Stars

Quitting a successful law firm and returning home was not what Lucy Berberian had in mind.  However, this is exactly what she is facing.  She has not been home in 10 years and only plans to stay for a short time.  She had no plans to return to her family’s Mediterranean restaurant ever.  She also was not expecting to help solve a murder.

The restaurant is experiencing a slow spurt due to the off-season.  Finding a body in the parking lot of the restaurant does not help business at all.  Another issue that Lucy must face is her ex. Boyfriend, who left her without any explanation after they graduated from high school.

The different types of hummus that Lucy’s mom prepared sounds really yummy! This is a new to me author and also new to be narrator.  I enjoyed both.  The narrator has been added to my favorites list.  She kept the storyline going.  I will definitely continue with this series.

Thanks to Tantor Media for giving me this book in exchange for a honest review.
