Synopsis:

When you read this book, you will make many assumptions.
You will assume you are reading about a jealous ex-wife.
You will assume she is obsessed with her replacement – a beautiful, younger woman who is about to marry the man they both love.
You will assume you know the anatomy of this tangled love triangle.
Assume nothing.

Twisted and deliciously chilling, Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen’s The Wife Between Us exposes the secret complexities of an enviable marriage – and the dangerous truths we ignore in the name of love.

Read between the lies.

This was such a fast read, and I loved every minute of it!  I’ve always been told that there are two sides to a story.  Another important fact is that one does not know what goes behind closed doors.  A marriage may appear to be perfect and glamorous on the outside but behind those said doors can be fatal.

I have a vivid imagination, which ran a muck in this thriller.  This is one of the few books that I found myself re-reading passages guessing what I had read.  Nothing is as it seems, and this will become more prominent towards the middle of the book.

By all accounts, Richard is a loving husband with an extremely jealous ex-wife Nellie who attempts to stop the upcoming nuptials.  Nellie will not stop at anything to speak with Emma, Richard’s intended.  Is Nellie the victim here or is she a stalker?

This early release was a book of the month for December.  I love BOTM and have a link if anyone is interested.  I have also just heard that this book is soon to be a movie!  This is one of my favorite reads in 2017!
