4 Stars
This installment played differently from the other books in the series. The beginning of the book includes flashbacks from Ally that spanned over a year. These flashbacks included prior prior plots from other books so I do advise that you read the series before reading this last book. Ally has major decisions to make and one is what to do about her current boyfriend Ren. If her family knew that she was secretly dating Ren, they would not be happy. Ren’s family is into some illegal dealings, and the Rock Chicks would be furious with Ally if they ever got wind of this budding romance.
This reader found some issues with Ally. For one, she appeared at times (most of the time) to be a bratty spoiled kid and not a woman in her 30’s. Not to many women that I know would act like this. At times, I wanted to actually stop reading and call it done because of her nonsense. However,
I did finish this book, because I really wanted to know the outcome and not left hanging.
The other supporting characters were either present or were mentioned. Since this is the end of the series, I would have preferred to have all chanters present so that they all had a proper send off. Too much of this book were flashbacks, and for that , I was highly disappointed. I did give this book 4 stars, because I wanted to learn more about Ally and Ren. This book did meet that purpose, and I am sad to see this series end. There could be a possible new series that is spun from this one.
