Miscommunication can create a spiraling effect and this certainly was the case in Class Ceilings.  When a love swept couple became engrossed in fear, danger, the mob, and add the FBI an intriguing story erupts.  Although I have not read book 1 in this series, I can clearly see how this installment could easily be a stand alone.  Two years prior, Nick Farley was undercover as a bartender in Chicago.  Nick meets Angela Cavello through another bartender friend and both became immediately interested in the other.  Nick and Angela had a one night stand, but that one night made all the difference in the world.

Nick told Angela that he was undercover but neglected to tell her that he was an FBI agent.  Angela and Nick made plans to meet in New York.  Unfortunately, Angela never made it.  Two years later and Angela is integrated at the FBI office in New York.  Both have secrets and have made life changing events but the boy who looks identical to Nick was never one of those mistakes.

Glass Ceilings is so much more than a fast paced thriller.  The only issue that I had was with the two main characters.  I liked both Nick and Angela separately.  While this reader does believe in love at first sight, there was just something missing between the two.  The secondary characters were fun and were an integral part of the plot.
