Gifted Thief (Highland Magic Book 1) by Helen Harper

Thanks to Tantor Media for giving me this book in exchange for a honest review.

I am having a difficult time writing this review.  I listened to this book three days ago hoping that something would come to mind.  Unfortunately, I did not like this at all.  This book is classified on Goodreads and Amazon as a YA.  With the raunchy lines and poor jokes, I would definitely not recommend to a young adult.  This is not something I would not want my children to read.  I did like the narrator but at times was difficult to follow.  For me to simply like a book, I must like the MC.  I couldn’t stand Integrity – her name definitely didn’t suit her.  There were two romances and neither were solid.  The ending requires the reader to continue on with the series.  For me, I will cut my loses and move on.
