Wicked Deeds on a Winter’s Night (Immortals After Dark #4) by Kresley Cole)

Wicked Deeds

3.75 stars rounded to 4

Resigned to lead a life of celibacy, Bowen  MacRieve refuses to allow another woman in his bed after his soulmate perished.  In the previous books, Bowen was included but sat on the backburner.  Of all the women to possibly lure Bown out of his slump, was Mari, his archenemy.  At times, I could have smacked Bowen, but the end was worth the means to get there.  Theres was a love/hate relationship that bordered on the excessive, and I loved it!  There were definitely some laugh out loud moments!

I love Cole’s world building.  I definitely suggest to read this series in the proper order only because the last couple of books spill into Wicked Deeds.   There are several secondary characters that have had minor roles but will surely have their own stories to tell.  While the majority of reviews have found this to be their favorite, I won’t pass judgement until I get a little further in the series.  All in all, a good and fun read.
