This is the second book in the Swanson Court series. This book begins immediately where Drawn to you ends. I was disappointed that this book only focused on Rachel’s and Landon’s insecurities about their relationship. There was little communication on feelings. Rather than communicate her feelings to Landon, Rachel simply shuts down and slips away from Landon. She finally tells Landon that she loves him, and they have a steamy night after he tells her to just leave. She does slip out early in the morning and flies home. She continues to use her insecurities and jealousies to get in between her so called relationship.
There was so much potential to this book but it just ended short for me. I love angst books that take me on a roller coaster ride. Sadly, this book was flat for me. I can’t like Rachel due to her insecurities and her lack of communication regarding her feelings towards Landon, her job, and even her parents. The ending of the book took us right back to square 1 and yet to another cliffhanger.
This book was given to me by the publisher in exchange for a honest review.
